Our new gift shop will be opening in March 2012. You can find Art Kits, handmade crafts, painted ceramics, natural Bees Wax candles,  hand painted stationary and an abundance of uniques hand crafted gifts. Now one more country  gift shop opening to join the wonderful shopping  experience of Bell along with Lisa’s Boutique, Helping Hands Gift Shop, and the Mission Thrift Store.

What could be easier? Roll out a snake like shape with clay like you did when you were young( kinda like play doh)…..Stack ‘em up……and you have a great piece of pottery. A useful vessel to carry or store things.

You can go big, you can stay small. The exciting part of this project is anyone can roll a coil and build a wonderful pot. Changing the shape is so easy. "Key to my heart" handmade clay designs to be fired

Here at the Village Art Studio we offer classes to make unique Garden Stepping-stones with a surprising ceramic component. You design your personalized names, sayings &  shapes from clay. We have an abundance of cookie cutters and forms for your use to help with your designs or unleash your creativity completely and make some free form shapes of your own.  After the clay is fired( baked), you get to glaze your homemade ceramic tiles anyway you choose. Then come back one more time for the mosaic part! Here’s where you have loads of fun and  also so be challenged! Remember you want to find just the right pieces of cracked studio tiles to place around your ceramic tiles to build a  successful stepping stone. Some people do random….some people plan ahead. Either way works!  We’ll  even do the grout for you.
